Pressure Washing is a messy job. So to ensure we keep back-spray from the lance in check, we will move any garden pots and furniture away from the areas we are cleaning, making sure to put them back once we have finished spraying.
SOFTWASHING
Once the surface has all been stripped, we then apply a strong cleaning solution to dissolve any remaining lichen, algae and other tough stains. These remaining marks and stains are too tough for even our machines, so this solution ensures we give you the best results for your patio/driveway.
PRESSURE WASHING
Our two 3000 psi machines make light work of most tough stains that latch on to patios and surfaces. Our pressure washing lances are each fitted with a turbo-nozzle, allowing for double the cleaning efficiency of a standard lance, while also creating a zero-degree pattern that provides a nice even clean.
CLEAN UP
Due to the nature of the job, it's inevitable that nearby windows, fences, walls and static objects will be splashed and get dirty. We will wash it all down and clean the windows with our own purified water to leave it all cleaner than we found it.

THE PRESSURE WASHING
PROCESS
For this service we will use our 3000psi/207bar Industrial petrol-driven pressure washers to clean your surface. Being over 13 times more powerful than a standard electric machine, this allows us to strip almost anything from a surface. Our pressure washing lances are each fitted with a turbo-nozzle, allowing for double the cleaning efficiency of a standard lance while also creating a zero-degree pattern that provides a nice even clean.
Once the surface has all been stripped, we then apply a strong cleaning solution to dissolve any remaining lichen, algae and other tough stains. These remaining marks and stains are too tough for even our machines, so this solution ensures we give you the best results. The solution we use will stain clothes, carpets and other fabrics so it is advised to stay away from the treated area until we dilute and remove it all. We also advise keeping pets away while we treat the surface as it can cause mild skin irritation, and they may track it into the house. This part of the process is optional, takes roughly an hour, and we make you aware before we apply the solution to the surface.
Factors we must consider
Water Supply: If the tap pressure is not strong enough this can sometimes prolong the job as the water reservoirs are emptying faster than they are filling. Each pressure washer drinks 21 litres a minute when in operation and we must stop frequently to allow the reservoir to fill back up if the tap pressure is poor.
Water Pooling & Drainage: In the event of water pooling in areas we are able to contain this with our wet vacuum, so you won't have any areas drying dirty with grime and leftover residue. We also have a submersible pump with a 10 metre hose to pump away water that is building up in areas. If drainage is poor then again this can sometimes prolong the job as we must shift the water to an area it is allowed to soak away, but as mentioned above we have all the necessary equipment should we have a drainage issue.
Backspray: We will bring tarpaulin sheets and use them where necessary to protect any vehicles, fixed furniture, plants etc from backspray. Windows will be cleaned professionally using deionised water to ensure the glass is left with no marks, and backspray will be washed down off anything that gets dirty such as fences, gates and brick walls.
Sanding: If the area in question is block paving we will need to re-sand it once we have finished pressure washing. This is very important if the area is driven on as re-sanding the joints will stop the blocks from shifting and sinking over time, which will eventually lead to "tank tracks" up the driveway. if the block paving is just walked on then this is not as much of an issue if you do not want it sanded.
